Every business, club, organization etc that promotes activities or services that may be of interest to visitors is eligible to be listed here free of charge. Any organization that fits that profile and is not currently listed only needs to make themselves know and they will be included. We are working very hard every day to add content to this site.

If you feel we have missed an Austin County Community, please let us know. These communities were selected because they were included in a database of Historical Markers provided to us from the State of Texas. Any perceived slight is purely unintentional.
This site has been designed to give you a wide variety of tools to find places and events that interest you. We hope you will even find something new that you may not have considered previously. With this in mind we have designed this site to include calendars for each community and a combined county wide calendar so you can see everything going on at once.
We have also categorized organizations and events alike so that you can find activities and organizations specific to your interest. For example, we have a category for Golf. Within that category are subcategories for Golf Courses, Lessons, Pro Shops and Driving Ranges. This allows you top search only for Golf related information or be more specific and look at gold courses only.
We are much more than just a listing of places and events. We travel around the county gathering information, taking pictures and video, meeting people, eating at the restaurants, picnicking at the parks and generally experiences the county ourselves so that we can share this information with you first hand. We do not ask our visitors to supply information for us. If you know of a business or activity that you feel should be included and is not, then please let us know and we will see that it is included if we also feel that it is of general interest to tourism in the county.
